Luminous Inverlast Flat Plate Batteries have specially designed deep-cycle cells that are much less susceptible to degradation due to cycling, and are required for applications where the batteries are regularly discharged. These batteries have thicker plates that can deliver less peak current, but can withstand frequent discharging. A deep cycle battery is designed to provide a steady amount of current over a long period of time.
